Park Foundation announces sponsors for The Park at Flat Rock event (Sept 25, 2015)

Flat Rock, North Carolina, September 25, 2015 – The Flat Rock Park and Recreation Foundation, Inc., is pleased to announce the sponsors of the Fall into Flat Rock 5K and Family Fun Day. Pardee UNC Health Care is the presenting sponsor with other major sponsors including: Summit Marketing Group, WTZQ radio, State Farm Insurance (Judith L. Stroud), and Boyd Chevrolet. Supporting sponsors include: Bill and Mary Garrison, Highland Lake Inn, Hendersonville Co-op, and Carolina Ace Hardware and Garden Center (Greg and Sheila Paul).
The event, which will be located at The Park at Flat Rock at 55 Highland Golf Drive, will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015. The 5K race kicks off the day at 9am and takes place on the scenic park nature trail. A fun walk is also available. To register, visit active.com. (Tshirts included for runners!!)
The Family Fun Day will begin at 10:30am and continue through 3pm. There is no admission charge. A variety of events and entertainment will include:

The presenting sponsor, Pardee UNC Health Care, is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds. The Flat Rock Park and Recreation Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2013 by the Village of Flat Rock, North Carolina to help raise the funds required to fulfill the vision of a signature municipal park for the community.
